WEASEL is a tenacious little robot warrior that embodies two sensors that allow it to "see" a line or "feel" its way along walls and around corners. Two motors and a contact sensor activate the wall sensing micro switch. Classic robot design uses the "Left Hand Rule" to escape mazes. Also includes a sonic tracking system. Photo detectors underneath the WEASEL enable it to detect and follow a black line. Three-speed gearbox. Beginner robot kit great for entry level robotic competitions, workshops, after school programs, or science class. No soldering required.
The OWIKit line is a series of computerized battery robot kits that can teach basic principles of robotic sensing and locomotion. Each of the kits features pre-assembled PC boards, hardware and mechanical-drive systems that can be handled by almost everyone from ages 10 and up. Only basic hand tools are required for assembly. These fascinating robots allow you to experience and learn any one of the following features: sound sensor, infrared sensor, remote control, wired control, programmable memory.
